Privacy Notice
This notice explains what personal data PreLicense Pro collects, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
PreLicense Pro ("PreLicense Pro", "we", "us") operates the PreLicense Pro real estate exam preparation platform and this website.
For the personal data described in this notice, PreLicense Pro acts as the data controller: we decide why and how your personal data is processed. Questions about this notice can be sent through our Contact page.
Personal data we collect
Account data: your name, email address, password credentials (stored in hashed form by our authentication provider) and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares.
Profile and study preferences: your target exam state, planned exam date, confidence level, chosen study mode (National, Georgia, or combined) and disclaimer acknowledgement.
Study activity: practice sessions, answers, scores, mistakes, flashcards, study plans, study guides, AI coach conversations and readiness scores.
Support data: the name, email, subject and message you submit through our contact form.
Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, log and error data, and usage/telemetry generated when you use the service.
Billing data: subscription status, plan, billing period dates and payment records. Card numbers and other payment credentials are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
Why we use it and our legal basis
To create and operate your account and provide the study platform — performance of our contract with you.
To generate personalized practice questions, coaching, study guides and readiness scores from your activity — performance of our contract with you.
To manage subscriptions, entitlements and billing records — performance of our contract with you and compliance with legal obligations.
To provide customer support and respond to your messages — performance of our contract and our legitimate interest in supporting users.
To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug errors — our legitimate interest in a safe, reliable service.

To send optional marketing or product update emails — your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share it with
Service providers and subprocessors who host and operate the platform on our behalf, including our cloud database and authentication provider, our AI model providers (used to generate study content), our email delivery provider and our error/monitoring tooling.
Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of subscriptions, payment processing, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing and refunds. Paddle processes your payment and billing information under its own privacy policy.
Professional advisers such as legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
Authorities, regulators or courts where we are required to disclose information by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with the receiving party.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, profile and study data for as long as your account is active, so your progress and readiness history remain available to you.
If you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we remove or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or accounting purposes (billing and transaction records are typically retained for up to seven years).
Contact form messages are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and keep a record of support history.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Contact page. We aim to respond within one month.
If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit, row-level access controls in our database so users can only reach their own records, restricted administrative access, hashed credentials and monitoring for unusual activity. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your session and secure the service. These are required for the platform to work.
Where we use analytics or performance cookies to understand how the service is used, you can manage or clear them at any time through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this privacy notice as the service or applicable law changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and the updated notice applies from the date it is posted.
