Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of PreLicense Pro. Please also read our Refund Policy, Privacy Notice and Disclaimer.
Who you are contracting with
These Terms & Conditions are an agreement between you and PreLicense Pro ("PreLicense Pro", "we", "us"), the provider of the PreLicense Pro real estate exam preparation platform available at prelicensepro.com.
By creating an account, subscribing, or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and your account
You must be of legal age to enter into a contract, and if you are using PreLicense Pro on behalf of an organisation you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.
The service
PreLicense Pro provides AI-assisted study tools for real estate licensing exam preparation, including practice questions, adaptive sessions, mock exams, an AI study coach, flashcards, study plans, personalized study guides and readiness scoring.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own exam preparation within the plan you have selected.
Educational content is provided for study purposes only and does not guarantee any examination result. See our Disclaimer for full details.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not: use it for any unlawful purpose; engage in fraud, spam or misrepresentation; infringe anyone's intellectual property rights; upload or generate unlawful, hateful, harassing or infringing content; attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning systems, or bypassing access controls; scrape, bulk-export or redistribute our questions or study content; reverse engineer the service; resell or share your account access; or circumvent plan limits or other technical restrictions.
AI features: you are responsible for the prompts you submit, for how you use generated outputs, for verifying accuracy before relying on any output, and for having the rights to any content you input. AI-generated study content may contain errors and must not be treated as legal, financial or professional advice. We may filter, refuse, moderate or remove content and outputs, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these rules. If you believe content on the platform infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act on valid takedown requests, including terminating repeat infringers.
Intellectual property
PreLicense Pro retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, question banks, study content, documentation and branding. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate and provide the service to you.
Payment, subscriptions and refunds
PreLicense Pro Premium is sold as a monthly subscription at $39.99 per month, billed in advance and renewing automatically each month until cancelled. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Our refund terms are set out on our Refund Policy page.
You can cancel at any time from your account or through the Paddle customer portal. When you cancel, your Premium access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made. If a renewal payment fails, we keep your access during the provider's retry window and ask you to update your payment method.
Service availability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of inaccuracies. We may modify, update or discontinue features from time to time.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. On termination your right to use the service ends; we will make your data available for a reasonable export window where practical before deletion, subject to records we must retain by law.
Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify PreLicense Pro against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, and the courts located there have jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory local law gives you a different right.
You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
We may update these terms as the service or applicable law changes; the updated version applies from the date it is posted.
